fascinating excursion

this week would be the last day for winter. upon knowing this, a few friends and i were planning to get the real touch of a snow at Mount Wellington and exploring tasmania as well. these were our itinerary :
1. Mount Wellington
2. ZooDoo & explore Richmond as well
3. Port Arthur (sadly to say, this's cancelled due to time constraint and non-familiarity with the road
4. instead, we ended up in the most boring place i could say, yea cassino.
5. see the sunrise at the Kingston Beach

he he this is nothing to do with the trip. i just want to show off my new hair. well nothing much changed. pls let me know if it does not suit me yea.

this is the team. let me introduce you to our driver, Sean Chew, the assistant Carolyn Cheah, Li Yin , Janice and me

can you see the one that Carolyn held? well it's our suicidal navigator, the speaker asked us to turn left when there's no turning left. besides that, we wandered off for many hours to get to Mt Wellington because that suicidal navigator that directed us to the wrong direction. thankgoodness, we had our map along with us. sigh, what i relieved when we finally got there.

this's at Mt Wellington

Janice & I

we again. there are lots of invisible holes and thin ice. haha i trapped on those holes most of the time.

indeed it wasn't that cold. not as cold as i imagined. nevertheless the wind was so darn strong. yea that's the one that made it cold. other than than, it's just like Genting Highland

we're enjoying the ice. yawn, wanna sleep there already

ouch..Jane was heavy, she sat on my back

this's at ZooDoo (an open Zoo), that's Emmo. OMG, he was running very fast as the car accelerated. most of the kids on the opened air bus were crying because of those animals that got their heads into the bus.

i was bewitched by its colour. that's peacock.

this's a paise/shy Koala. according to my friend, Koalas eat the leaf of minyak kayu putih. that's why they get sleepy all the time. i'll probably sleep too if i apply the minyak kayu putih all over my body

as i said in the foregoing, the animals got into the bus. can you see those camels? we have to feet them with our bare hands. oh no their saliva is gonna be all over our hands.

this's Tammar Wallabi (the smallest of the wallaby's families). they are very daring.

still at ZooDoo

this was taken when we went to see a sunrise at Kingston beach. it's about 15-20 minutes driving from my place at Sandy Bay.

it's beautiful, isn't it?

see the sun is rising.

that's the car that we rented
